Mock exam
Write a full practice exam under real conditions: pick your tasks, start the clock, then check your texts. At AHS you get two tasks and 120 minutes.
1 · Your tasks
Here is a suggested set: one task of about 400 words and one of about 250 words, in two different text types. Open a task to read all of it, or choose another one. All tasks come from the Task bank.

2 · The clock

A sensible time split
- 65 minTask 1: Essay, about 400 wordsPlanning (5–10 min) included
- 40 minTask 2: Report, about 250 wordsPlanning included
- 15 minRead through and correct both texts
On the day you choose the order yourself. A time plan stops one task from taking time away from the others.
The real exam has no pause button, so try not to use it either. At AHS no dictionaries are allowed in the exam, not even electronic ones. Put your phone in another room.
3 · Check your texts
When you click “Finish” or the time is up, you can check your texts here, one task at a time.
